Weather

I'm kind of bummed right now. There are severe thunderstorms and tornadoes all around me, but it all missed St. Joe. To make matters worse, my boy Gary Lezak cut into my Thursday night TV with his weather watching. I don't remember this ever happening in my world before I moved here. The Kansas City TV stations will supersede national programming with nonstop coverage of weather for hours. During the winter it's snow in the morning. In the spring, summer and fall, it's thunder in the evening. It sucks, unless I happen to be watching ABC, because the St. Joe channel doesn't do that. They aren't advanced enough to have wild radar images and stuff.

I will say that it's kind of funny because tonight Gary was in the studio and the morning meteorologist was in the sky chopper flying around looking at the storms. Put two men who live for weather in the middle of tornadoes and it's a real good show. And I keep looking out my window in hope. And all I'm seeing is clouds. Boring clouds, not ominous funnel clouds. Those will come at 4 AM when it's dark and I can't see them and when I'm trying to sleep. Stupid weather.
