Today I'm working on door decs for my staff and my residents. Well, the ones for the residents are actually "bed decs" because they are going above their bed to let them know which side of the room they are assigned to. But before I did that, I had to go to Walmart to get some markers, and exacto knife, some stuff for me, and a small fridge for my office. I stopped into the Subway before I left and grabbed some lunch. I was happy because I was done shopping for a good while. So I thought.
I went to the office and started working on these bed decs. I decided I wanted to put a pennant on them, so I looked through the cliparts for a pennant. Nothing! No decent pennents to put on my bed decs! So I looked for a megaphone. Nothing again! So I said "Fine! I'll go to the teacher store." So I did, and I found megaphones that I could trace onto my bed decs. I got to the counter, and lo and behold, I have no wallet. Eek! I knew it wasn't at home, I would have seen it. So that meant I left it at Subway on the counter. The lady at the store wished me luck and put my megaphones aside, and I assured her I'd be back.
So I'm zooming to Walmart's Subway, thinking of all the stuff in my wallet along the way. I vowed that if they had my wallet I was going to do all those things you're supposed to do, like photocopy your credit cards and keep a list of all that stuff, and stuff. I was thinking of all the phone calls I'd have to make. I dodged traffic in the parking lot (it's Tax-Free Weekend, so all the residents in St. Joe are out shopping), ran around people in the entrance, and went into Subway. The girl at the counter remembered me and immediately said "Yes!" and pulled my wallet from under the counter! Thank God! He saved me yet again. I don't know why He watches out for me so much, but I sure hope I'm doing whatever it is I'm supposed to do to deserve it. Had I not randomly decided I wanted megaphones and went to the teacher store, I might not have known my wallet was missing for a good while.
And after all was said and done, I decided against putting megaphones on my bed decs.
