179.4. Today was the official weigh-in for the 2009 Pound Plunge. I'm the unofficial team captain for our teams. This year we recruited enough people for two teams. That's kind of fun. We've got just enough healthy competition between our two teams that it'll keep things interesting. Our names are Western L.A.S. #1 and #2. L.A.S. stands for "Lean and Sexxy" but when I signed us up I thought we'd keep it simple.
Since I haven't blogged since before Christmas I thought it would be a good idea to combine the fatchick blog with this one for now. As soon as I get back on track with this blog I can go back to housing my weight loss journey on it's own site.
You may be thinking that I'm going to tell you about the rest of my Christmas vacation. You'd be right. But not right now. I'm exhausted. My office has windows all across the back wall and one on the side wall, all facing the morning sun. And I have white walls. And no blinds or curtains or tinting. I love my windows. Having spent a year and a half in a hole, without even a true door, I would not give my windows up for anything. But on bright sunny days like this one, my eyeballs get fried in the morning. That throws off my whole day. If my eyes are dry and tired, so am I. And I have a sinus infection. I've had it for a while. Like months. But I've been in denial, and then once I decided it really was an infection I wanted to wait until after the first of the year because our copays went down. So I'm going to the Dr. tomorrow. Yay!
So that's about all you're getting out of me today. This weekend starts "Oscar Watch 2009" so you may not hear from me again for a while. Keep checking though, I may surprise you...
