So here I sit at ACPA Placement, hot and sweaty and my feet are killing me, because this place is spread out like none other, and there's no place nearby to get a cold Coke. Don't even think about asking for Pepsi. I didn't bring my snacks or drinks today, because it's day one and I wasn't sure what to expect. I'll be better prepared tomorrow. I'm drinking a venti hot chocolate from the starbucks that is connected to the place. I'll be miserable tomorrow, but it will be all good! I am ON! Love me, you want to hire me on the spot.
We thought we were staying in the good hotel, the one where everything is. But we aren't. It's sad. The room is a little small, but its got a great view. And the bed is AMAZING. Down comforter, feather top, down pillows. Sleep heaven. I want to go to bed at 8 tonight to maximize my enjoyment.
My poor cousin Lindsay had twin baby girls yesterday. I say poor Lindsay, because she is a very small woman, and the babies were big for twins. But I'm sure they are beautiful, and I bet her and Matt are very happy they are here! I know my Aunt Beth is ready to be a Grandma! And she really wanted at least one girl, so two will be fun. But the poor kids don't realize Grandpa Rich will forcefully encourage them to play basketball later in life...I really hope they like sports :) And Uncle Bruce will take them fishing. The Delaney clan doesn't really know what to do with girls :)
Speaking of girls, little Princess Gracie is growing up too fast! The silly girl only has two teeth, but she refuses to eat baby food. She downed an entire peanut butter and jelly sandwich earlier this week. Yes, she takes after her Crazy Aunt Bobbie. Which is how it should be. I probably won't be able to see her until her birthday, which is sad. Carol, if you are reading this, take some pictures, will you? And make Mom take pictures too, that's why I got her that camera! I'll talk her through the process of getting on to my old computer if hers isn't back yet.
OK, I'm going to go now, I have a very important interview in 45 minutes. Yay!
