In response to my friend Doug's blog post about hunting down a roach in his apartment, I was a smartass and asked him if it was really a roach or a waterbug? We have lots of waterbugs here. That's what we call them. But I sure hope they aren't really waterbugs. Why? Because waterbugs are a type of cockroach. Other waterbugs actually live on water, and can cause bodily harm. Gross!! I feel misled.
So my mission now is to find out what these bugs actually are. I don't actually think they are roaches. But I still want to know what they are, because until I know, I will have roachy nightmares.
Why do the CNN commentators on the RNC keep talking about giving the speakers and the audience and others "red meat"?
