Cold Dog

Off topic, the sidekick to Jason Bateman on The Hogan Family is now doing gum commercials. I love when random pop culture items just turn up and smack me in the face. It keeps my mind active.

My dog is cold. Not only is he shivering, he's cold to the touch. It's not that cold in here. What's wrong with my doggie?? His eye is more droopy too.

I finally went to the doctor today about my shoulder. I started getting muscle spasms up and down my arm on Friday, and they've been near constant since. When I'm not in a spasm, my muscles are so sore from them that it seems like they're spasming. The ice wasn't helping, and the anti-inflammatory drugs obviously aren't doing anything.

So of course, it turns out it's not my shoulder. It's my biceps tendon. The tendon wraps around the rotator cuff area and into the shoulder, but it's not the shoulder itself. So he gave me a cortisone shot in my shoulder, because he said he has had better luck doing that than shooting it directly into the tendon. He said it should be numb by the time I left, but it never did get numb. He said the numbness would go away in 12 hours but the pain won't go away for about 3 days. I'm worried because it didn't get numb. I still have pretty much full range of motion, so there's not an acute injury like a tendon or ligament tear. But it still hurts, and sometimes it hurts like hell. So we'll see how it goes. At least I can't blame this one on being fat!

I LOVE the eclipse gum commercials. You lint-licker! Stinky McStinkface! It's been on for a while, but It cracks me up each time I watch it. I'm going to look for it on YouTube now. If I find it I'll post it for you.
