Speaking of Oscars, I watched "Surf's Up" yesterday. It was OK. I'm still not understanding how this got nominated and not Shrek 3. Of course, I haven't seen Shrek 3 yet, but I'm sure it was better than Surf's Up. It wasn't bad, it was fine. But not Oscar worthy, in my opinion.
I didn't go see "No Country for Old Men" because I was loaned a downloaded copy of it, which I will watch maybe tonight, and will send back to it's owner. I do not condone this sort of thing, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I have Eastern Promises still in hand, and Across the Universe is on the way. I will watch No End In Sight online through Netflix. I have one rental coming at Blockbuster. I will probably get Michael Clayton and American Gangster, even though one won't be free. I'm hoping that Surf's Up will get back to Netflix in time for me to get Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Ooh, maybe I'll watch Eastern Promises tonight to get it in the mail and I'll be able to get In The Valley of Elah...This is becoming a fun game!
